New Work for TEAM:Bariatrics

Kathy lost a lot of weight. I mean a lot. One hundred thirty five pounds! And she's the star of our latest Tv spot for TEAM:Bariatrics.

But Kathy didn't just lose some weight. It's more like she's been reduced to Super-Kathy concentrate. She's more outgoing, more enthusiastic, and (wait for it) has a much smaller can.

We didn't have to go far to find the perfect shoot location, either. Kathy owns a great little art gallery in Syracuse, IN called Creative Fish. She features work by local artists and gives art classes in the back half of the shop. A very cool little place, run by a very colorful woman.

Surviving to Tell the Tale.

Yesterday we had great testimonial shoot with Peggy. She told us about her struggle with lung cancer and how the Center for Cancer Care helped her though it.

The thing that always strikes me about these testimonials isn't the gut wrenching emotion these people go through in the worst of times, it's how incredibly transformed they are coming out the other side. While I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone, I can't help but feel envious of the appreciation for life that these people gain though their experience.

It's That Time of Year.

Coming up later this month, the Michiana Ad Club will be holding it's annual Addy award ceremony to honor local advertising talent. It serves as the jumping off point for the regional, and then national competition for advertising excellence. It'll be interesting to see how Elkhart's dismal economy has affected the advertising community over the past year.

UPDATE: Ok, so this year's show definitely showed signs of economy based atrophy. Too many people playing it safe made for quite the snooze-fest. But hey, there's always next year.

Is it Soup Yet?

We're currently in the midst of putting the finishing touches on a new Tv spot for Goshen Health System. Should be ready any day now. It's looking great!
